Is ABBA Voyage Worth It? An Honest Review for 2026

If you're asking "is ABBA Voyage worth it?", the short answer is: yes, emphatically. But let's break down exactly what you're getting, and who will love it most.

ABBA Voyage is unlike anything else. You're watching digital avatars — or "ABBAtars" — of the four real members of ABBA, created using motion capture technology by Industrial Light & Magic (the team behind Star Wars). They perform on a stage that looks and sounds like a real concert, backed by a genuinely excellent 10-piece live band.

What works brilliantly

The technology is jaw-dropping. Within minutes, you forget you're watching digital creations. The crowd energy is real and infectious. The setlist — 100 minutes of ABBA's greatest hits — has been updated in 2025 to include new favourites like Super Trouper and Take a Chance On Me. The sound quality is extraordinary.

Who it's best for

ABBA fans of all ages — this is an obvious must. But even people who aren't die-hard fans consistently rate it as one of the best concert experiences they've had. It's also excellent for families; kids are mesmerised by the spectacle.

The verdict

It's genuinely unique — there is nowhere else in the world you can experience this. It runs until July 2026 and won't return. If you're on the fence, go. You won't regret it.

Guide · Buying Tickets

ABBA Voyage Tickets Resale: Where to Buy in 2026

With ABBA Voyage in its final months, demand for tickets is higher than ever. Many official dates are sold out through the box office — but resale tickets are widely available. Here's how to buy safely.

Use a trusted resale platform

We recommend Viagogo, one of the world's largest ticket resale marketplaces. Every purchase is backed by a buyer guarantee — your tickets will be valid, or you'll get a refund. Avoid buying from individuals on social media, which carries real risk of fraud.

Tips for finding better prices

  • Midweek shows (Thursday) are often cheaper than Saturdays
  • Check availability a few weeks before your target date — prices can drop as sellers reduce prices to sell
  • Dance Floor tickets are generally the best value for the experience
  • Book early for final July 2026 shows — these will sell out

Guide · What to Expect

What to Expect at ABBA Voyage: Your Night Explained

First time going to ABBA Voyage? Here's exactly what your evening looks like, from the moment you arrive.

Getting there

Take the DLR to Pudding Mill Lane — the ABBA Arena is right outside the station. The journey from Bank takes about 20 minutes. Allow extra time on weekends when the DLR gets busy.

Arriving at the venue

Doors open 30 minutes before the show. There are two on-site merchandise shops — arrive early if you want to buy official ABBA Voyage gear without a queue. The bars inside open once the show starts, with a good selection of drinks.

During the show

The performance is exactly 100 minutes with no interval. It starts on time — latecomers are not admitted until a suitable break, so don't be late. The atmosphere is festive and friendly. Everyone dances. ABBA fans wear 70s outfits and glitter — you'll fit right in.

After the show

Bars open 30–45 minutes after the show ends. The ABBA Arena is friendly about people lingering — it's a celebration! The DLR back will be busy, so wait 20 minutes if you want to avoid the rush.
